Pilates for Student athletes
Powerhouse Pilates Studio offers private, duo, and trio Pilates sessions in 30- and 60-minute formats. Sessions are conducted on authentic Pilates equipment from Balanced Body, Peak Pilates, and GRATZ, including the Reformer, Tower, Chair and Jump Boards.
Each session is fully customized to the individual client, with the goal of optimizing performance, supporting recovery, and reducing the risk of injury. Exercises are selected based on daily movement habits, personal goals, and sport-specific demands to help clients move more efficiently, feel better, and perform at their highest level.
Pilates is especially beneficial for student athletes, providing corrective exercises and functional movements that address poor body mechanics and help reduce common overuse injuries caused by repetitive training.
Regardless of age or fitness level, Pilates teaches us how to move and feel better while improving joint and spinal strength, mobility, muscular strength, and flexibility. These components work together, and an effective weekly workout routine should consistently focus on strength, mobility, and flexibility to support long-term health and performance.
